Anyone watch this last night? I recorded it just because Mel Brooks was on it. I've always liked his humour. What maddened me was the sight and sound of Russell Brand. What a pathetic excuse to be called a man. I am embarressed that he calls himself a man. He is filthy and looks as if he stinks too. One of most horrendous people I have ever seen or heard. Why on earth anyone gives him air time God knows.

I just can't believe anyone can actually like him.

I agree, a ghastly individual who thinks he is God's gift but I suppose someone had to Why anyone gives him work escapes me Mind you the same applies to Jonathon Ross, they are well suited to each other. It was them that made the obnoxious telephone call to Andrew Sachs that lost "Wossie" his BBC contract. Pity ITV don't follow suit

Pity ITV don't follow suit It wasn't the call: it was the Daily Mail getting hold of it a few weeks later. If it had been on a commercial station they wouldn't have bothered, because the real target was the BBC. "God's gift": well, yes: women find him very attractive, and are willing to show it.

It baffles me what anyone can find attractive in such a filthy looking and filthy talking individual. I won't call him a man, that would be classing him as a male person.

What's not manly about him?
Russel Brand is not my cup of tea in the fancying stakes, but clever, funny and elequant at times he certainly is.

" So sneering at people, and being very rude to them is a sign of being clever, funny and elequant"? I don't think so

So many comedians poke fun and are rude, it's how they get their material. Here is a clip of him being eloquent, addressing issues that affect working people. He has given food for thought for lots of young people when they vote.
