Even though I've seen it a hundred times, I still have to watch the Wizard of Oz if it comes on tv. I can still recall the first time I saw it at the pictures as a child and my gasp as Dorothy opens the door of her just-landed house 😮

I've seen it said that the Godfather films are a good example of great art being made from a mediocre source. All I remember from flicking through the first one (at about the age of 15) was a woman remembering Sonny's erection (massive, of course: it seemed to be that kind of book).

No wonder I've not read 'em 😄 Thanks for that.

I don't remember that in the film, perhaps they left it out because James Caan erm wasn't up for it

Started watching and fell asleep. Another time woke up half way through it. Finally woke up when it was well under way, and then fell asleep again And I'm a big Judy fan

Another Judy Garland film, Meet Me I St. Louis is a great favourite of mine. Yes, a great film and memorable for me. I was taken to see it by my mum and her sister. My aunt had a stand up row with the people behind us who talked all the time. I cringed. I thought it was very unseemly.
