Pour your words over my head like balm
and soothe me with their peace and calm.
Spin your web with silken vows
to bind all my uncertain nows.
Let jewelled words spill from your lips like pledges
to smooth my jagged edges.
For my heart is weary and sore,
your words my salve for ever more.

Thanks whereorwhen. I'm glad you like this poem. I think it's one of my best. Unfortunately I double spaced ,then I double spaced again between the lines.(Oops).

It was written at a time when I was going through a difficult patch.
