Does anyone watch Benidorm? I go their regular, have done for 30 years and have lots of friends there. It is absolutely nothing like the tv comedy series. In fact I think the tv show has over run it's course now and is no longer funny. They have a poor cast and very poor scripts.
A shame because Benidorm is what you want to make of it. The old town still maintains a very Spanish feel with chic
shops and up market restaurants, while the new town is very much geared to the young with cheap bars and discos.
I hope they don't make any more series, it has become very embarrassing watching it.

I have never watched Benidorm.Seeing a trailer for it was enough for me.
We have a friend who goes there twice a year and,like you Ron,assures us it's nothing like the TV show.
Our next door neighbours are there at the moment.They'll be back next Tuesday.

I said for many years we wouldn't go there. But friends went and said it was nothing like you read about so we thought we
would give it a try. Had a marvelous time and yes it is nothing like you read and see on tv about. The youngsters have their
part but there are still the old Spanish quarters in the old town and the people are great.
