Desmond Harrington presented his last show on Fridays 7pm
Now in that slot on Radio 2 is Leo Green presenting Sounds of the 50s. I'm loving it. Catch it on iplayer

I heard the first half hour,marispiper, before I watched the football,and was loving the music. Leo Green is a natural on the radio. I still have a few of his Sounds of the Fifties from his last series, that I recorded. Sad to hear that Desmond Carrington is having to give up broadcasting from Perth because of ill health.  Who remembers Desmond as Dr Chris Anderson in Emergency Ward 10? |
