And saw Anthropoid. An excellent film about the audacious plot to assassinate Rheinhardt Heidrich in Prague during the German occupation. I bought the book HhHh some years ago and it sat on the shelf (I find have to limit consumption of WW2/Holocaust books..you can only stomach so much) I have only just read it because I knew the film was coming out; however, a brilliant book, cleverly written by Laurent Binet. I can recommend both.

Last time I went it was in about 2008, to see The American Friend at the NFT. A great film, and no adverts either; also, anyone even trying to eat popcorn there would get hard glares - and more - from everyone within earshot (I was a bit worried even about my Fisherman's Friends). As for turning up while the opening titles are running, well...
Great place.

The 10.30 am show was £5 which I feel isn't excessive, but that depends on how much you want to see the film, of course. We also have a Premiere Cinema which is even cheaper... £4 any film, any time. It wasn't on there though. Do you think that's expensive then?
