A vinyl rip of this, which is a lot better than I remembered - at the time its mixture of punk and space rock got terrible reviews, but it sounds astonishingly modern and exhilarating now. It is mostly short hippy punk songs, of the type that Daevid Allen had been doing for years before then, and extended repetitive jams, which for me could have been extended quite a bit further; the intro is from a Gong LP, that was originally released here at 59p.

Sounds to me like a Pink Floyd mash up on an off day

Infinitely better than PF. They use different tempi, for a start.

The village fete passing by our window. Music, people laughing and the happy sound of children......a tonic:)

I particularly like Desert Island discs. But many weeks I wonder if the guest has been explained what it's about. I mean, you are stuck on a desert island all alone maybe for years, so you would want music you love and that you would play over and over for years. Some of the guests choose ridiculous music, yes I know it might mean something to them but not to play over and over for years.
Right: Try this: You are stuck on a desert island indefinitely. Pick three records you would want to play 365 days of the year.
Me: 1: You are my destiny (Paul Anka) 2: Pokarekare Ana (Hayley Westenra) 3: American Trilogy (Elvis Presley)

Daevid Allen, the first LP he made after leaving Gong (he said something was preventing him - physically - from going onstage one time, so he buggered off back to Deya, where he found a Spanish acoustic group playing in Robert Graves's amphitheatre (or something like that: Gong were formed after Allen found the sax and flute player Didier Malherbe (Bloomdido Bad De Grasse) playing in a cave on Graves's land, and even before then he was a part of Soft Machine when they would hang out there):
I always liked the back cover:
