I was just listening to the radio to a Moslem young man who said the trouble with Germany is that it is too intent on protecting its Judeo/Christian culture!

German culture has survived a lot worse in the past than a few feet of cloth: burkas are like protest songs in this respect: both sides see them as being much more powerful than they actually are.

I cannot see the point. To be honest, it is borne out of fear. 'How can we tell if someone has extreme views? Ah...they have extreme dress'.
That is not to say that I'm not afraid myself but I cannot see what good this will do. They banned it in France...didn't help much there.

There is absolutely no truth in this 'spread hatred' headline. However the Germans have announced that anyone with dual nationality supporting IS or any such ****** will have their German nationality withdrawn permanently.
