Another exiter exits. What do you think his agenda is? To await the call from Downing St to join the new government

Aren't we forgetting something? Don't they have to be elected first?

Aren't we forgetting something? Don't they have to be elected first? Actually no I think Goldelox. I think you can be in the cabinet without being an MP. And Alec Douglas Home was elected as Tory party leader when he was a member of the Lords, so not able to sit in the commons until he renounced his title. I can't remember the full detail but he could not have been an MP at the time as he was in the Lords. I will look it up to satisfy my own curiosity. Farage would get my vote, but only when we were deciding who to throw overboard from an overcrowded lifeboat!

They seem to bring these unelected helpers to their cause in via the House of Lords, most famous I suppose being Alan Sugar You would fight me in the queue to throw Farage overboard

It is nice to agree with someone the other side of the political divide! No weights in his pockets please to lessen the suffering!

I am sure Murdoch has given him a job for helping his plan to get the UK out of the EU.

Heaven only knows what Farage will do next. He is hardly likely to buy a caravan and retire! However, one thing you can say, like or loathe, he has been a significant and passionate force in British politics for twenty years! That takes some energy and commitment. There would've been no referendum without him that's for sure - only time will tell whether we will be grateful for that or not!

Farage has stated that he is standing down so he can spend more time with his family. They are pleading with him not to.....

You thought he'd gone away, didn't you? Well he has. He's gone off on a tour round Europe to stir up a bit more far right feeling!
