Hi KN
Hard to say....
Mongrel? My miniature dachshund has made me a sausage dog fan.

What's yourv favourite dog breed? Mines a Retriever. Mine has always been a Collie (had one as a very young boy alone in a hamlet with no other children, Bimbo was my best friend) But since adopting one along with a Jack Russell, a bonded pair, I have become a JR fan I do not like and would never have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, loads of them need rehousing but not for me

Since my daughter's darling Lurcher became one of the family, I have fallen in love with Whippets, Greyhounds, Salukis. I also adore scruffy Border Terriers.

I like Jack Russells. We had one who was a darling dog.Sadly he died age eleven. We took him to the vets to find out he had a tumour on his pituitary gland. He didn't last long, bless him. When we took him to the vet's for the last time,I could see tears in my OH's eyes,I was sobbing. I told OH it was alright to cry.He snapped at me,telling me he had a cold and that he wasn't crying. This is a picture of our last dog,a Llasa Apso called Miss Chloe. She was a character and a half. Still sadly missed. When I took this photo she had been groomed by an over zealous clipper.

All these gorgeous dogs! I long to have one but it is impossible at the moment.
Jimmy, my daughter's lurcher Lula certainly does bolt at times! Often she won't spend any large pennies whilst she is out walking. So when she gets back home, she goes straight to her special place which is hidden away at the back of my daughter's secret garden and does what it necessary. After that she bolts around the various parts of the garden and orchard so pleased with herself! The only thing she might chase is a squirrel. At all other times she is so gentle and quiet. I adore her.
