You are spot on there. my grandson works for Tesco and the ones that see to the online orders do just that. Take everything from the front. I always look for the longest use by dates. Unless we were in very bad circumstances I would never buy food on line. Like you, I actually enjoy shopping and take my time looking around. We are quite lucky because we have Morrisons, Sainsburys, Tesco, Asda , Aldi and Lidl all within a few miles so are spoilt for choice.

Hi Valdy, welcome to UK Oldies. I used to love shopping in store and hand picking my fruit and veg especially. Sadly, I have a few health problems which make it difficult for me to shop in store now,so online shopping is a blessing for me. I mostly use Tesco online now and sometimes can manage Aldi when my daughter takes me and helps me.

I have mobility problems too and we do most of our shopping online.
The groceries , I get from Ocado. It is delivered to an address in the UK and he delivers it to France.
I find the food fresh and only use the local supermarket for eggs/butter and other things that don't transport easily.

I like Ocado, but they put up their delivery charges.Actually they doubled them. I decided to use Tesco who let you have a cheap delivery pass for midweek deliveries. It is only £3.49 a month.Tesco are nearer to us than Ocado, which is in Liverpool,so has a long way to come. I found I saved more on offers with Ocado than I do with Tesco.
