Today 1983................. M*A*S*H' finale airs to record-smashing ratings
Nearly 106 million viewers, or 77 percent of the American TV-watching public, tune in to the last episode of the beloved series 'M*A*S*H.' After 11 seasons, the television show about a US Army medical unit serving in the Korean War lasted longer than the war itself.

Not a fan of the American shows either. Funniest might have been Sgt Bilko.

Was anyone else disappointed in the last Midwife episode? Too much concentration on the abortion issue IMO Think we all knew that the doctor would finish up with the Chinese little girl

Thought the final episode of these seasons Endeavour was excellent, tying up all the loose ends

I have tried to like Warren with Martin Clunes but in the end I have to admit it is rubbish. I like Martin Clunes too, a shame he has to do stuff like this.

Switched off Steve Coogan too. Is there no good comedy nowadays? They are all the same, just not funny/ Ricky Gervais, Keith Lemon are also turn offs Someone was explaining that they have to be careful what they say these days for fear of offending, and to have it thrown back at them in the future
"Aaaaaagh-ha! 'Absolutely dreadful' Alan Partridge reboot loses a third of its viewers in a week •This Time With Alan Partridge dropped to just 2m viewers, from 3.4m last week •Some viewers may have abandoned it in favour of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire •The revival sees Steve Coogan's Partridge star in a parody of The One Show"

I only have to see Rickly Gervais on tv and I feel my temper rising, I don't see hope anyone in their right mind can find him funny. As for Russell Brand I'd like to scrub him clean inside and out, he looks like what he is.... an uncouth yob.

Did anyone watch that documentary about Michael Jackson? I must admit I didn't but I heard people talking about it in town today.

I saw clips of the two accusers and I think I agree with those who say that they are motivated by money. There has been a trial when Jackson was acquitted and there is no evidence to substantiate there claim Maybe he was foolish to entertain young boys in the way he did but maybe that it was all innocent. There was a bio about him which suggested that he was asexual In any event I like his music, and he was a phenomenal performer. Who knows what others we admire do in private

It's a question of belief I was just as vociferous in defending Ted Heath and Rolf Harris
