Down it goes again. According to the politicians, that's good! But they also say when it goes up, 'a strong pound', that's good. I think we are being hoodwinked as we gradually become a third-world economy!

Exchange rate at UK airports, in some cases is less than one euro to the pound!
That spells disaster!

Exchange rate at UK airports, in some cases is less than one euro to the pound! That spells disaster! Well you have to be slightly deranged to exchange money at an airport. Imports are more expensive, but exports are cheaper for the buyers overseas. I have started sourcing some stuff I used to buy abroad in the UK. It will be a bit of a bumpy ride but I think things will settle down a lot after the US elections. My main concern (on exchange rates) is that where I used t be able to send a quotation out and guarantee the price for 30 days I now have to put a rider on. That makes more work. I want the pound stable, even if that is parity with the Euro, and for that matter the dollar.

As far as I read, King was just saying calm down a bit... I think there is little chance of that happening!

Supermarket prices are about to go up, despite Tesco's claim they will keep them down. I often wonder how deep the water has to be, before some folk rate it a flood..

Perhaps a 2% increase...but the 10% increase that Unilever was demanding was profiteering, nothing else. Fortunately, they have seen sense. I do think Brexit has become a convenient scapegoat to blame everything on, regardless of reality.

All 17.5 million of them are fools are they? Well, since they voted to leave the EU and leap into the unknown, yes

While you and your fellow remainers, the minority, are the wise ones? I think you should try and do a bit better than that.
I am quite sure I could fill a room with dim remainers and wise leavers, and vice verce.

Perhaps you have forgotten how the Remainers laid out the consequences of Brexit, dire forecasts which seem to becoming true Apart from lies, what did the Brexiters tell us that was good about leaving the EU The Governor of the Bank of England has today warned of food prices increasing because of the falling value of the pound, the Brexit effect Are you happy that this will hit the poorest in our society the hardest. I don't expect the 3 Bexiteers will suffer
