Getting to the supermarket and finding you've left your list on the kitchen table. Feeling pleased that you have got your shopping without it. Getting home and finding you didn't buy the one thing you really needed...grrrrr

Recorded message cold calls...you can't even have a go at them/wind them up/shout... I can sit and talk to them for hours, especially when I discover the call is from India, we discuss about cricket.

People who won't let go of elderly pets. I know someone with a 15 y o cat, losing blood everywhere, injections, loads of medication. Why not do the loving thing and have it out to sleep? Criminal. Can't say anything really... If it was a picture of a suffering creature in a Russian zoo, you'd be up in arms... It is hard that one. The cat in my Av is 15 now but he's ok (a bloody old sod but ok), but the others we got at the same time had to be put down because of illness, and my dog was as well - more than 20 years back that was, and I still miss her. Yours is a very sane answer Aubrey. So pleased your 15 year old fella is doing well 😁 he looks brilliant...a character! But if a cat was as thin as a rake and barely able to move, eat, drink... I KNOW it's devastating to have a pet put down, but I don't understand this prolonging of suffering masquerading as love for it. I can't go and see this friend...too upsetting (cat) too much risk of argument (owner) Sorry folks...the moans thread was 'sposed to be lighthearted. Enough already...

We had something similar with the other two - both had tumours, had lost weight etc. You can't keep them going like that.

Packets of "easy open" biscuits that are anything but Shrink wrapped packages that need assault course training to get into them

Emotional ties and refusal to let go Same applies in some human situations

Bottles of anything that are too tall to go in the cupboard/fridge. What do I do with them? Leave them out? Really annoying...

Packets of "easy open" biscuits that are anything but Shrink wrapped packages that need assault course training to get into them The biscuits packaging thing: I find that they're usually easy to open but the packaging is useless afterwards (and the top 2-3 biscuits are liable to fall on the floor), and unless you take them out and put them somewhere else the biscuits will go soggy. I can spend ages unpicking the top of a packet so as to leave something I can put a clip on.

Especially when they are about to turn into the side road you are waiting to leave.

Still does not prevent the two bu..ered biscuits at the end. On another moaning note, wrestled with a reel of sellotape this morning...couldn't find the 'end' ...got it twisted..and then it was one of those you can't tear a bit off...and I had to hunt for a pair of scissors.. Grrrrr
