I am watching these games as if it is a tournament. It's tight at the top, anyone of 6 could get into the Championship. I can't see Klopp being happy with that thumping from Man City. I think he might have tolerated a 1-0 or a draw but they can't end the season on a losing run.
Also if they are going to play in third gear or put on a load of kids and reserves it will have a major effect on the relegation games at the foot of the table. That always leave a bad taste when some team plays a bunch of 17 year olds and manages to stay up and the team that goes down has to face 3 teams vying for Champions League plaes.
After watching the England/ Scotland match last night, I don't think England have a chance of winning the Euros. At times I did wonder if Harry Kane was still on the pitch! I am, of course, supporting Wales, who have inched through so far. Two not very inspired games behind them. Gareth Bale missed a penalty by a mile. It doesn't bode well for Wales' chances either. Hope springs eternal.
