^^^ She was in a great Spanish film called A Candle For The Devil aka It Happened at Nightmare Inn, about an English woman who is supposed to be meeting her sister (not Sally) in a small Spanish village. She is told that she has moved on: but we know that she has been murdered by a couple of puritanically religious sisters who had been outraged by her topless sunbathing on the roof of their hotel. Judy goes to stay in the same hotel while she investigates... Talking to one of the sisters:

I wouldn't have thought so, but good for Yoko on the off-chance that it is.
Mind you, if the Beatles had stayed together we might not have had those ghastly Lennon solo lps. Swings and Witch's Hats, I suppose.

I have to say that I met Pauline Collins in Chester with her husband John Alderton. She was so beautiful I was struck dumb. I know that sounds dramatic, but honestly, she was much more beautiful in real life than she looked on TV.She was also tiny. Pauline broke the ice and made me feel comfortable.A very gracious lady. John was very shy at being recognised. He was starring in a play at The Gateway Theatre in Chester.

When we went to NZ once we were on a day out near Auckland and we saw Alderton and Collins sitting outside a café. They had apparently just come in off the plane from England and he looked knackered. I wished for a time that I'd had a copy of Wodehouse's Mr Mulliner stories for them to autograph, them having done a couple of series of adaptations of them (which would have been quite possible and I'm never far from Wodehouse), but now I'm quite glad I didn't; and we didn't bother them anyway (I think my mam asked them if they'd just got in).
