Aubrey Vincent Beardsley (21 August 1872 – 16 March 1898) was an English illustrator and author. His drawings in black ink, and influenced by the style of Japanese woodcuts, emphasized the grotesque, the decadent, and the erotic. He was a leading figure in the Aesthetic movement which also included Oscar Wilde and James A. McNeill Whistler.  Goodness!He was only 26 when he died. |

Back then I was dealing with around 200 fan mails a day......... I have a mental picture of you at the photocopier filling in the Dear ***** And signing them off appropriately. That is a lot of fan mail. No doubt some were hilarious and if you want to share any, or selected parts of them without letting cats out of bags that would be fun. The ones written in Green ink maybe? |
