Comparing refugees to vermin appeals to some voters as well. It doesn't make it right, or honourable, though.

I got his point. It's an argument that has always been used against refugees - German Jews were nazi spies, etc. Very few refugees have turned out to be terrorists; usually, terrorists are born in the country they're attacking. Trump Jnr's comments are no more than an excuse for a wilful ignorance that would happily condemn thousands of people to death.

How many 'foreign' friends do you have Gus? More than enough thank you, including in-laws. But I don't consider any of them "foreign", we all Europeans - and none seek to kill us or change our way of life Why do you ask?

Is there an answer? However there is little proof this is actually happening, according to officials and analysts.Farage is one of the people who seems most concerned about it. He'd have been just the same in the 30s.

"But EU prosecutor Michele Coninsx, warned the charitable aims came with a potentially deadly caveat - that Isis terrorists and bombers are continuously being smuggled across the Med - hidden among migrants."

You can choose to bury your head and ignore the facts, quoting the 30s and Nazis, I do not

It was wrong to stop thousands of refugees from coming here because of fears of nazi spies in the 30s and it's wrong to stop thousands of refugees coming here because of fears of a handful of terrorists now.
Coninsx doesn't seem to be saying that refugees should be stopped, just that there should be more sharing of information between crime agencies.

I don't read her as saying any such thing, why else would she report this other than to stop them You read it differently, so be it

I looked her up: she doesn't say refugees should be stopped from coming to Europe, and the organisation she heads is devoted to europe-wide sharing of information.
The idea of stopping them, because of the possibility of a few terrorists hitching a ride - amongst thousands - is deeply inhumane, and would lead to many deaths - of children as well, like that boy whose house got blown up: there are thousands of children just like him, but whose images have not been spread over the world media for a couple of days: if that boy came here, would the people shared his photo then say he should be denied entry?

As I have said before, let 'em all in and join the queues for medical attention, social work and social care help, housing, and places at your local school We cannot cope now, if a pint pot is full by adding to it - it will overflow. Do that with people and society will collapse Wherever these wannabe migrants, mostly economic, come from, they are not our problem
