I see what you mean, people such as Stalin, Pol-Pot, Chairman Mao and other well known right wingers. All you have is to defend right wing present day ,would be dictators, by harking back to dictators of old . You missed out Atilla the Hun and Herod. Go play with Excoriator , he enjoys belittling you.

Do you have to be quite so rude? My comment on Trump I thought was a reasonable light hearted remark, which seemed to instantly galvanise you into slagging off any right wing politician. There are some good and some bad on both sides of the divide. Well, that is my opinion.

I watched a spellbinding expose of Trump last night on BBC2. I would recommend it. The list of people he has fired , many of them extremely competent is breath-taking.

Trump cocks up again. His following must be diminishing.

Trump cocks up again. His following must be diminishing. I don't know if you watched it, but Jon Sopel was pretty illuminating. He has written a book about this which I must read. The list of people Trump has fired is staggering. Regardless of your political standpoint a lot of those people were highly competent, they just happened not to agree with Trump.

There was yet another programme on last night about Tump and covid19. Pretty chilling stuff.
But, is he going to win, and if not, will he accept the result? A double no on balance I think.

Trump will fight any way he can to stay in office. He has been warned by the Attorney General that when he is no longer president, he will be indicted for offences he has committed while in power. It is usual, for all presidents of the US ,to be given the affirmation of not being indicted after their term of office, but Trump has not been given this.

My memory is a bit slow these days but I thought Nixon was indicted while he was president, or did he simply resign under the threat of being indicted?

I honestly can't remember what happened with Nixon. I only know that Trump has been threatened by the Attorney General.

I hear whispers that he might have a Chinese bank account! Apparently some Trump affiliated outfit has paid thousands in tax in China.
Now why would he do that?

I think Trump initially fell out with the Chinese, because they would not do the deal he wanted to sell his daughter's clothing line there.

It's quite a cheap way of buying a country.
