My nephew's dog - one of twins, Keith and Ted... Meet Keith This lovely little fella had to come in for surgery with us as his owner noticed a little lump. After performing tests to investigate the vet diagnosed this lump as a Mast Cell Tumour. Mast cell tumours are among the most common tumours in dogs and are the most common type of skin cancer found in dogs. The safest and most effective methof of treatment is to remove them. Keith did really well and the nurses fell in love with him, what a star! If you notice any lumps or bumps on your pet and want to get them checked out please call to make an appointment; We did just that, noticed a small lump on Spud our adopted collie, vet checked it out and advised surgery. Under anaesthetic he noticed another small lump on his knee and removed that too, £500 but worth it to remove the worry. Analysis reported just fatty benign lumps Regarding sleeping, Lily our adopted JRT sleeps with us and as the weather is getting cooler she loves to snuggle under the duvet. Spud sleeps on his bed beside ours, he will not get on the bed as presumably he has previously been trained Here they are

Well, inasmuch as they came from the same litter and I cannot tell them apart! His owners can of course. I will try and post a picture of the two of them together.

Just read a moving article by a vet. He was called to put down an old dog.The mother, father & little boy were with the dog,as he inserted the needle. The mother said why do dogs have such short lives compared with humans? The boy said, that's because humans have to learn to be good & kind.Dogs already know.

Did you see the moving one of the American cop carrying his beloved German Shepherd to be put to sleep. The dog had a terminal illness and was very week It had served the force well and distinguished itself so it had a line up on it's final journey. Very sad

I am not a cat lover either. I admire their beauty, but give me a dog every time. Dogs look up to you. Cats look down on you.

Our pair when let out for their "necessaries" last night at bedtime discovered a badger in the garden. I had no idea our Jack Russell could run so fast Exit hurriedly one badger, hopefully never to return. We had one once before that nearly destroyed the lawn until we realised it was visiting to drink from the pond. We soon stopped that Hateful creatures that kill hedgehogs and infect cows, I cannot see any purpose in their existence
