I did night school classes in Stained Glass before Christmas. I was shite at it but loved going. As they say though practise makes perfect...in my case practise has made it less shite, and I completed some decorations for the tree today.
I've got pictures on my iPad , do I have to go through photo bucket or have things improved and I can just upload them straight?

In the Reply (not Quick Reply) form there is a button - Add Attachment
It allows you to upload up to three image files, each of up to 1Mb in size from your computer.

In my youth I was taught how to solder type accents onto foreign type faces. This made any form of soldering dead easy!

This was taken last week, I've soldered the poinsettia now. My next task is to create a panel to fit in front of the loo window in our new place. The window is at a most unfortunate height!

This is the panel I made to cover the loo window in our 200 year old flat. No idea why the first picture is on its side!

Thank you, I found a design on line and adapted it. I loved doing this panel because it had a reason for being made rather than for just being pretty. It is also made up of scraps of glass I had left over from other projects. The panel is about 18x12 inches. I'm going to ask Santa for a glass grinder.....watch this space.

So reading through this thread made me giggle. I’ve come a long way since the beginning and got my first commission today. I sent a picture to my friend who showed it to her boss and they want one. Gave them a price and boom now I’m having a small panic 😁
