Yes they took out a loan to attend the trial and used all of their savings to bring his body home. I think the govt could have done that for them.

I believe you are now required by law to watch anything live, BBC or otherwise. If you don't have a TV Licence, you can watch: Catch up programmes on services other than BBC iPlayer, such as ITVX, All4 and My5; On demand films or TV shows that you watch, rent or buy online from providers like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sky, BT TV, Sky, Apple TV+, Disney+ or Now; SC4 programmes on demand.

Hi Arena, probably because they are not over populated like we are here, millions here are taking money out of a system that they have never paid any money into, baring that in mind isn't bankruptcy inevitable? To put our population v Australia and New Zealand = twice as many here ,they clock up around thirty three point one millions v our population now at almost seventy million. WTFGO!

Ireland has a huge housing crisis. People are moving to Northern Ireland and getting the fast train down to work. You have to book the express coach a week in advance. They also have an essentially private healthcare system which can be difficult to access in rural areas. Even if you qualify for their equivalent of NHS treatment you will still be charged for the bed and board. GPs are about £40 a visit.
Education generally is ok, but some areas have no alternative to an RC School and there are issues around this.
Ireland isn't over populated but then neither are we, per square foot we are still doing better than many other place. There are parts of Ireland that are incredibly rural and almost cut off and unless you have transport and a satellite phone you'd be so isolated. That might be fine for a weekend holiday but there are no jobs in these places so nobody wants to live in them anymore.
There race riots were about similar issues. Refugees getting housing and healthcare, and in some cases jobs. Although to be frank, I don't think dormitories in an old paint factory are the equivalent of a council house are they.
