My cousin had need to fast charge an electric car. It was £1 a minute! To have enough to get home from Suffolk - 40 quid!

Hi Hild, I don't want anything to do with heat pumps, ATAG boiler has another 12 years of a 14 year warranty to run, my boiler is made by a combi boiler with the lowest emissions in Europe it's low nox is 2.2 % of waste an electric boiler is 2%. It has a double use to ensure that virtually no fuel goes out of its flue.

They're not forcing anyone to change their boiler, they're just telling builders they have to put them in new houses and that when you do need to change you should look at this. Hence the grant scheme. I don't think anyone is rushing to change - well actually some are because it is greener, but most of us will continue with what we have until we need a new one.

What exactly did Starmer say about sausages, Rikii? I keep seeing memes that I don't understand.

Rikki the number of people claiming sickness benefits has risen massively, it's rising every year. They have to do something and those things will include ensuring you get the surgery you're waiting for, the treatment plan you need, opportunities to try work for a short period to see if you can cope, supported work for 16 hours a week. Various different schemes because once you've been off for a year or two it really is hard to go back to work and you worry about the cliff edge facing you if you can't cope. We don't have the details yet, but I am guessing that you won't lose your benefits for the first couple of months you're working, or you will, but if work can't happen because the employer doesn't make reasonable adjustments they said they would (like a ramp for your wheelchair) and you have to leave, you can get them back again quickly. This is one of the reasons he wants Job Centre to be local again and have employees who know the area and know what's availalbe. He wants jobs on boards and not just sending people away to look on the internet for work.
