Yes, they have and if I was going to whinge it would be about Team GB making it harder for some to take part. I was reading that in some field events we reduced or raised the time, distance and height etc. for some events so that it was considerably less than the Olympic qualifying rate. This meant that our too world class shot putters didn't get a look in even though their PBs this year would have put them 4th and 5th and one is European Champion. Our male long jumper came 4th, he has to work full time because he doesn't get sponsorship and had to fund raise to get there. No camps in Australia or the US for him. Just back to work two days after he finished. What might he have achieved if he could train properly.
Instead we got some people who haven't a cat in hells chance over there for the experience. I want to see everyone who is in the top ten in Europe over there, not people who are in the top 20 or top 30. They need to change this.
