I'm frequently bamboozled nowadays and not because of the impending dotage. I'm now being informed that the original beverage we all enjoyed is being renamed by the PC police as 'human milk'. My kids grew up big and strong on the stuff but even they were aware at a very early age that I wasn't the best place to go for a pinta. Back in the day it was 'mother's milk' Distinguishable from day one by the swollen areola ,with Montgomery Glands, those little nodules on the nipple , which keep it oiled and smell of the odour baby was used to in the womb to further guide the little one to his nourishment. Now read this:
“We acknowledge the additional challenges that gender identity can have on pregnancy, birth, and infant feeding,” Brighton and Sussex Maternity posted to Twitter. “Our approach has been carefully considered to be inclusive of trans & non-binary birthing people without excluding the language of women or motherhood,”
Other changes to their glossary include “chestfeeding,” and the term “pregnant people” instead of “expectant mother” wherever applicable. Citing research showing, “Discrimination in the provision of services can cause trans, genderqueer, and intersex people to delay or avoid necessary health care services often to the point of putting their overall health at risk,” Brighton and Sussex Maternity are paving the way to egalitarian healthcare.

The world has gone stark staring MAD!
I daren't say what I am thinking, in case I upset a transperson or a non-binary. They seem to be very touchy about everything they can't do!

I agree, it has gone mad these days. You have to be so careful what you say.

Isn't all milk breast milk, though? I mean, apart from oat milk and almond milk and the like? There'll always be milk: (Note the prediction at the end - from nearly 30 years ago)

Isn't 'dick' & 'willy' a bit sexist?

Don't the Press have a phrase "The Silly Season", possibly multifold (or wrong season) because Covid has taken the place of "News"?
Is there still a Newspaper called "The Sun" that used to give anatomical photo's.

Why is it alright to show all the breast but not the nipple?

I was thinking about this on Sunday, and the mind-blowingly stupid people who cant call a spade a spade. It has too be a digging implement for fear of upsetting some people.
I was thinking about it because I cooked chest of lamb for Sunday dinner.

We used to say that my dog had more than The Nolans.
When I got her done they all but disappeared, which is something the vet had not warned me about.

There was no way of knowing if the chest of lamb I cooked had started life as a little boy lamb or a little girl lamb without me conducting extensive DNA testing. I decided not to bother and just ate it. And very tasty it was as well. Complete with stuffing, garlic and rosemary.

Not sure stuffing is pc any more either 😳 now it’s called forced meat, which sounds totally unappealing.
