How obedient are your dogs/cats?
It depends on whether I can work out what he's about to do before I tell him to do it.

Our two dogs are totally obedient, whoever had them before us trained them very well. The only problem we have is with Spud, the collie. His hackles will rise when he sees another dog as big or bigger than him, small dogs are no problem at all With gentle persuasion, and treats, we have got him to be so much better but he still flares up occasionally

I never had any trouble with training dogs.I did not train them to military standards, but they were all mostly obedient. I think to be sure a dog is 100 per cent obedient you need to use cruel measures. With love and encouragement, most dogs will be obedient enough to be handled easily.

I think we have proved that if you give a dog lots of love and affection they will return it in buckets full

Our Labradoodle knows when it's bed time and gets her own bedding ready to retire for the night.
