Received my long awaited appointment today for a procedure at my local hospital Before Christmas I attended for this procedure to be carried out under local anaesthetic, basically my regular scan showed a thickening of my bladder wall and the urologist though thinking it was nothing serious decided he would like to know what it was. It involves a camera and biopsy gadget bring inserted into my bladder without surgery if you get my drift He could not get his equipment in and decided that I would have to be put to sleep for it I do have problems peeing so am glad the appointment has arrived, when you have already had surgery for cancer you do worry what they will find

Have an appointment this morning at our general hospital with my lung cancer chest consultant, first in over a year. No doubt it will involve and X-ray so fingers crossed Have been served chapter and verse on how to prepare and enter the hospital so it will be an interesting visit

Thanks. All good and clear, see me in 12 months The X-ray also showed that I have been untouched by the virus

For my procedure on the 20th I was told to hibernate for 14 days before hand, now scrapped by the government Also I would need to have a coronavirus test before the admission date, and would be contacted for an appointment. They called today and arranged the appointment for this Wednesday at 2.15 on the telephone. Amazing what they can do digitally these days . So when you see these 300,000 per day tested it doesn't mean they have been seen

Anyone ever break a toe? I do it a lot. In fact I could almost call it a hobby. I tend not to wear footwear indoors and now that I'm old and doddery I keep walking into furniture. I reckon I've broken toes 7 times in the last couple of years.

Ouch! I do knock my toes, but I wear slippers most of the time. I have had some nasty knocks though, when I've been barefoot.
