I currently need to use a wheelchair, and need the extra space to get out of the car and into my wheelchair. Spaces which actually have a wheelchair image painted on the floor Others use the same space, walk into and around the store, and back to their car. Their argument is that not all disabilities are visible

In French supermarkets we have checkouts for disabled folk. The carparking for disabled is strictly adhered to , with fines for those not displaying the correct handicapped card. The disabled bays have a sign (roughly translated) 'Take my parking , take my illness'.

I have a monthly blood check.
Nurse (he) turned up this morning at 8.00am.
Oh, I said, I thought my appointment was for the 20th. No,no ,he said, waving the Gallic finger, today. I gave him an armful and off he went with a cheery bon jour. Later Mrs A pointed out that she had to have one today. She phoned the office and sure enough he'd sampled me by mistake.

You can also do it without going through settings.
Finger down on ctrl then left scroll up or down to whatever size suits.

Had a bad day yesterday. I couldn't get out of bed. I can't complain ,because I am better today and I haven't had such a bad day for a very long time now.I hope it's a long time before it comes back.

I have the occasional flare up like that. Not a lot you can do but rest up and hope it improves next day. I haven't been too troubled with my carpal tunnel for weeks now then I got up this morning and for some reason I couldn't open my left hand at all and as the day wore on it's been hurting like hell.

The physio lady has just been and walked with my wife as far as the front gate. She was impressed with her progress and says she can go out in a few days. Still got pain and still using the crutches, but she is managing
to get around a little more. Of course she still needs surgery on her knee and that depends on the length of the waiting list.

Would a rollator help her more than crutches One helped me to get mobile, we bought it from our local chemist. Was around £100

Thanks Jimmy, she has been using one up to when they decided crutches would be better. She only uses the roller one for going to bed. I think she's going to try and get out with me on Tuesday all being well, it will be the first time out doors for over 6 weeks.
