I went through five bread makers over the years and I did use them almost every day. I liked making Bara Brith (speckled bread is the translation) we would call it fruit loaf. I also used to make cinnamon bread regularly for my mother. Our regular day to day bread was half white flour,half wholemeal. When my last bread maker died the death,I decided not to get another one. The two of us don't get through much bread now. Our favourite,from the Village bakery, is the Welsh Batch.
