This:
But otherwise it varies, depending on what I'm eating: red sauce with chips, brown sauce with cheese, etc.
I used to love Yorkshire relish, but that's gone. My brother lived next door (literally) to the factory, and it was a lovely smell to greet you on a summer morning.

It has to be Daddies brown sauce for me. I do like ketchup when I'm having simple egg and chips.

As a child in the 30s I loved Pan Yan pickle, even spread on bread and butter, like a savoury jam. Sadly they changed the recipe at some time many, many years later and it wasn't the same and it was later withdrawn. Even later another firm took over the maker and tried again but they never achieved the original flavour. I'm not sure if it is obtainable now or has finally gone for good.

I like HP sauce on meat and red onion relish on most things, but I can't eat anything with chillies in it. I did notice recently, they seem to have changed the ingredients of Dijon mustard. The new one I got last week seems harsher than the usual mild flavour. My OH is a stickler for Colman's English mustard.
