The Heiress... A heart wrenching film and an excellent book (Washington Square, Henry James). Montgomery Clift -drop dead gorgeous, Olivia de Havilland - desperately lonely, and Ralph Richardson... the ideal father!!! He said to her something like.. "You have no attractive qualities at all - although you do embroider neatly" 😥 Oh yes.
