True, better to go than to suffer. It is always sad and I always tell family to remember them when they were well and to think abut the good times. Mind you, I am a realist and insist when they are told that a relative has passed away or gone to Heaven I have to tell them. No, they are dead!!!

I don't eat bacon or sausage,so I never have a full English breakfast. I like my porridge most days. I occasionally have a cereal just for a change, but you can't beat a bowl of porridge.

Good morning to you and everyone. I hope the dental visit goes well. I have an INR clinic appointment this morning, we do lead such fun lives but I guess it is par for the course.

I love that cartoon. If only it was like that at the dentist's. Today's appointment passed without incident,I'm very happy to say.

Good morning one and all. It's another damp and dreary day here - tomorrow is supposed to be the best day of the week, I can't wait!

10 April 1633. Bananas went on display in Thomas Johnson's shop in London. It was the first time the fruit was seen in Britain.

Blimey, I think I've got some of them from that date in my fruit bowl. Interesting factoid though. We have had torrential rain here today, yesterday was like a summer day. No two days alike, I guess just a typical spring so far.
