Enjoy Amsterdam and don't waste the trip by behaving yourself. I like the photo - you're looking well.

Gideon lost his way! We were watching Gideon's Way last night when thunder and lightning left us in the dark. With the aid of a couple of candles we found our bed and crawled in with cat & dogs. The power has just come back on. One of the joys of the Perigord....

I have watched a few episodes of Gideon's Way.It's great seeing all the actors from so long ago. I recognise most of them instantly. It's a lovely sunny day here in North Wales. It lifts the spirits no end.

Thank you Arena and a very good morning to you and everyone. Not quite so good weather-wise as yesterday but still it is going to be warmer, so pleasant.

HI Honeybear, been a very nice day. We started out at Mold this morning having brekky and latte in Rubens cafe. It was a tad chilly in the breeze but by lunch time the sun had warmed everywhere up. Managed to get washing dry on the line, that's the first time this year. Nice to see that spring has sprung.

We went to my OH's brother's funeral yesterday. The weather was good here,so I wore a little jacket. The funeral was in Colwyn Bay on the coast. The weather up there was full on winter, complete with freezing rain. Needless to say,we were frozen by the time we got home. Now it's seems the dreaded lurgy has reared it's ugly head again and I have a very sore throat and a temperature. The funeral was very sad, because my brother in law's grandchildren( all adults with their own families), cried all the way through. The eulogies were heart breaking. I think young people have a hard time coming to terms with death in the family. I know I did, when I was younger. Funerals are still sort of barbaric, but they are the best we have come up with so far. My brother in law was suffering and he was 88 years old,so I felt it was a mercy when he passed.
