I had a nocculation some days ago. Normally no problem, but this was very high up, almost shoulder. Nursey was also telling me that this years injections were a different composition - Usually include a dollop of flu that will prevent getting flu, but this time it was without the dose of 'flu, but would take 14 days to be effective - it seems that in previous years, the then innoc caused pain in some people. Could the effects be vise-versa this year? ... and could it have been affect my stiff shouder/neck?

The only time I've had a problem is when they've injected into the muscle. Takes about a week before i am comfortable sleeping on my left side.

I had my flu jab on Monday and my arm was so sore it hurt just to touch it. It is better today. I don't usually have any trouble with the flu jab.
Yesterday, OH eventually got to the new nursing home. It has won lots of awards and I genuinely think fate has given him a lucky break. I was delighted to learn that weekly visits are allowed - though they must take place outside. I immediately booked a visit for next Wednesday. Last night , most of North Wales went into lockdown, so no more visits allowed. The rise in our cases of covid are due to visitors mobbing out the area and not following guidelines. To say I am disappointed is an understatement.

It is disappointing that some areas are into lock down when the figures are much better than other areas.

I know when I Skyped him and he heard my voice, he leapt up and tried to kiss the screen. Today I had a phone call to say OH has been taken to hospital He had "a small tumble" and because he is on blood thinning meds, they had to have him checked by the hospital. Thankfully he is back in the home now.

AHH! We have moved from Mists and Mellow Fruitfullnes, and into Wind, Rain, Clock changes, Long dark nights, Drab days, and pondering on whether one should take a leaf out of the Hedgehogs, and Hibernate. Why am I suddenly feeling Miserable .. or even Moribund.

I would love to hibernate each winter. This is the month I start feeling low, knowing the days are shortening and I will be having to scrape frost off the car for the next 6 months.

Morning all: Here we are again in Lock down and also awaiting a storm to arrive. I have to nip into town so I'm hoping to get home before it hits.
