We've had Just a slight drop which looks more like icing sugar than snow.

We've had Just a slight drop which looks more like icing sugar than snow. It was quite bad first thing but now raining and all gone. Usually at the first sign of a snowflake schools decide to close (teachers can't be lumbered with children if it gets bad and they can't get home) but today they all seemed to have stayed open

We had a thunderstorm last night with thunder and lightning of biblical proportions.

We had a thunderstorm last night with thunder and lightning of biblical proportions. Same here. I wouldn't normally have known but my nurse told me. I sleep through anything. The result of years of night work.

We didn't get the storm here. Today is the usual dull and cold. My back is playing up something chronic, so it's a rest day for me.

I doubt North America's most popular Christmas song will be , 'I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas'
