Yes they are, but I would still sit and watch them and roar with laughter too. I watched the old Dry Rot film the other day on Talking pictures and it still make me laugh.

Over Christmas, I think Channel 4 or 5, had all the Carry Ons - one after the other. I saw the collection in HMV and they were expensive so I recorded them all off the TV. I started watching the first but it was so silly I deleted the lot

Me and my brother one time- after coming back to see our mother in hospital after a heart attack so we were fairly down (she got better though) - watched Carry on Camping by followed Up Pompeii. Up Pompeii was good honest bawdy humour, while the Carry On film seemed really cold and anti-life, especially anti-sex. The humour in it was cruel, and there was only one good joke (the "All Visitors must show their asses") bit. It was all a bit depressing, and I'm glad the Frankie Howerd film was on straight afterwards.

Made me smile I could possibly have expressed that differently.
