I hate to hear people saying "I have to say" Just say it without having to say that. "You know what I mean." is another I hear a lot. "Per se" is over used these days too.

My Welsh friend punctuates every sentence with,"irregardless" and often says ,"But I digress." She digresses a lot,but so do I.When we chat neither her husband nor mine could ever follow the conversation. She said her husband was a "power of strength" the other day. I love it.
