This are the tax rules and regs that allow companies to right off profits against their losses. It's not Kellogs fault particularly as all companies use this, it is the fault of the system

Welcome back,Dee
Eating a gluten-free diet is very trendy these days.
Around 1.5% of Americans are currently eating gluten-free or actively trying to restrict gluten. One-third of those haven’t been diagnosed with celiac disease .
Just so we're clear, I fully support a gluten-free diet. There is evidence that in addition to full-blown celiac disease, a proportion of people may be sensitive to gluten or wheat.
However, processed products labeled as "gluten-free" and made to replace gluten-containing foods are generally not healthy. They are also much more expensive.
These foods are usually made from highly refined, high-glycemic starches, like corn starch, potato starch and tapioca starch, and may also be loaded with sugar.

Hi Mickey
I remember being very surprised , as a child, when I found out people ate oysters live.
I have never fancied them.

I went to the coast yesterday and saw a sign in a cafe advertising,"gluten free fish and chips." I wonder what the fish was coated with and why this made the meal more expensive than normal fish and chips.

France is famous ( and rightly so) for it's bread. A nice fresh crusty baguette....lovely. However they haven't a clue when it comes to sliced bread.
We import, Hovis Seed Sensations Soft Granary from the UK. The stuff you get in French supermarches tastes like someone has chewed it before you and has added sugar!

I noticed the bread in America is awful. We had to eat bagels a lot of the time.
