They are finding that wind farms make ideal habitat for sea-life. German stocks of lobster are favouring the relative quiet amongst the poles to live and breed. It is thought that other species will follow.

It is thought that other species will follow. What mind numbing sum did that bit of research cost! ALL marine life abounds where there is food, shelter and a lack of commercial fishing. The areas around Lundy have been declared a no fishing zone, including capture of lobster and crab and the result has been that marine life is back to levels almost unprecedented. Sea life also abounds in areas around the Dorset coast where there is no commercial fishing because it is a gunnery range. Never quite sure what comes up in the nets......

I suspect that windfarms are free from pollution as well as shipping. Big predators probably steer clear of the too.
