That man deserves to be jailed, maybe he would learn some manners there. As for Ryanair, the way they treat their passengers is enough for me never to book a flight with them. We have flown with them several years ago and was appalled at the behaviour of the staff and the state of the planes.

I would never fly with any budget airline.I am a nervous flyer.I don't make a scene or anything, but I like to think I'm in safe hands.

The cabin crew seemed clueless on this occasion, he should have been removed from the plane and arrested they didn't seem to understand this. I have only used Ryanair once and had no complaints at all about the service. I have friends who use it on a regular basis so it can't be all bad!!

The only good thing about the good old days is...........they're gone.

Yes, I wouldn't like to go through my teenage years again, but I wouldn't mind reliving my thirties and forties.

I like Ryanair, big comfy seats - speedy cheap service. People have problems when they try to bend their rules

I hate autumn and winter, scraping the windscreen in the mornings, wrapping up with winter clothing etc. Roll on spring and summer.

Oh, I love Autumn in London. It's when I moved here (16th of November, 1980), so pavements covered in wet leaves have a powerful pull on me.
Oh, and the following year, when I would take my dog to Ravenscourt Park in the afternoon and play with her there for an hour or so in the Autumn gloom, and then go down to Hammersmith to meet with my brother and our friend and we'd rehearse in the (powerless and floorless) basement of a dirty book shop, and then go for a drink in the Brook Green (old men in there reading library books, one a Polish man who we called Lech; my dog the floorshow, for her trick of opening crisp bags) and then walking back home along King Street, finding a drift of leaves up against the front door of our squat - it was a great year, that.

I didn't know you could buy dirty books there.
It was a Popular Book Centre, which sold 2nd hand books and soft porn mags - mainly soft porn mags, I think, since I couldn't imagine anyone buying the books, which were tatty and expensive, but you got half price back if you returned them - pretty bad deal all round. There was a chain of the around London in the 80s. I found a complete run of Cosmos, a 70s SF mag (four issues) and a 1965 copy of King: I remember in the 70s at least Mayfair magazine used to say "Incorporating King" on the cover. I also got a biography of Bernard Spilsbury from there (these were all just lying around in the other room in the basement).
I said there was no power down there (we used a long extension lead from one of the flats above the book shop); but there were gas mantles.

My grandaughter had to take her car for an mot, right in the city centre. The traffic was horrendous, I was weaving in and out to get her there, then a lad walked into the road between parked cars and I had to swerve to avoid hitting him, lucky there was a break in the traffic on the opposite side. I hate driving in the rush hour through the city centre.
