I've taken my time getting here. Sorry. I'm no newbie but I lost the link I was given, along with a few marbles I suspect. Thanks for keeping my membership warm for me.

Hello:
I live in the state of Ohio on the southern shore of Lake Erie. I just discovered your wonderful radio station this afternoon and have been listening all day. I love the conversation and music and already feel as if the presenters are among my best friends. Well done to everyone involved.
My great grandfather was born in Bradley (Derbyshire County) in 1869. He came to the US in 1880 with his ten brothers and sisters and lived until 1970. He got a job laying track with the railroad and retired as president of the Signalman's union.
He certainly witnessed a great deal of history during his almost 101 years. He was in his 20s when Wyatt Earp was Marshall of Tombstone, Arizona. He was 34 years old when the Wright Brothers flew in 1903 but lived to fly Boeing 707 jetliners from Tampa, Florida (his retirement home) back to Ohio for visits. He saw Neil Armstrong walk on the moon.
That's probably more than anyone would want to know about me, so Cuddles (my miniature rat terrier) and I shall retire to the living room and continue listening to Angel Radio.

I've only discovered this forum today and have made a few posts already, so it's about time I introduced myself!
I'm 58 years of age, born in Darlington in the north-east of England but sadly living down south since 1964. Went to school in Southampton but living in Pompey (aka Portsmouth) for forty years.
Took early retirement three years ago after a heart attack and a stroke. I keep tropical fish as a hobby - very relaxing and a great stress-buster!
Both my husband and I still think that the pop/rock music of the late 1960's and early 1970's is far better than the popular music of today.

I'll drink to that cobs!
I'm a real old time rocker. I listen to Angel when the old rock and roll is on. New stuff sucks
