We live and learn. I liked a lot of them and thought you were very talented. Probably still are. Just because I didn't press the like button didn't mean I didn't like them!

This is what I have have had on my desktop for about ten years: Silver Moonlight, John Atkinson Grimshaw: "I considered myself the inventor of Nocturnes until I saw Grimmy's moonlit pictures." (Whistler) (Let's hear it for another great Yorkshireman, Ladies and Gentlemen!)

Aubrey: I belong to an art appreciation and a few months back, this was the painting the lecturer chose for discussion. I didn't know Grimshaw before that! Lana: The lady in your painting looks as if she's texting someone 😁

I think I found Grimshaw through this: (Not my hand, but that is the edition I have - it buggers up some Greek lettering but otherwise it's ok. I have another one as well though; you can't have too many editions of Montague Rhodes.)
