We too have a multiple bed-bug problem. There's Mrs A ,me, the dog and the cat. The dog and cat vie to sleep between us. The loser sleeps on my pillow.

Try again, Alice.... I will but it may be more disjointed that the first attempt. The pets on beds stories reminds me of some years ago when my Setter (See my avatar) was my constant travelling companion. He was fed and walked in just about every county in England and Wales and quite a few in Scotland. If I had to stay overnight he would sleep in the car. One night I stayed in a pub somewhere in t'north. I asked the landlord for some water for the dog. 'You got a dog in the car? Bring t'bugger in' was the response, so he was in the bar being made a great fuss of and as usual very well behaved because he was without doubt a one man dog. The bar shut and the landlord, who had fallen in love with the dog told me to take him up to my room as it was going to be a cold night. So I did, and bear in mind this was a dog who was never even allowed upstairs at home. I woke up during the night thinking I had the DT's. Dog had climbed on my bed and was asleep lying across my legs, all 85 pounds of him!

I know the problem JJ, we used to go camping a lot and my previous dog (Australian collie and our previous cat in sisted in sleeping in the 'bedroom' section which only had space for the mattress , O.K. when the weather was fine, but when it poured with rain we ended it going home with a duvet cover that was in need of a two day soak to get the mud off it!!

My little Snip (miniature long-haired Dachs) has a cataract in his eye. The vet reckons around 2,000 euros to operate on it. What should I do?

How old is Snip now? I guess it depends on how fast it grows and whether it will cover the whole iris. My goodness €2000 is very expensive!
Max had about 4/5 moving discs of varying sizes in one of his eyes, he tilted his head slightly to help him see as the vet said there was nothing they could do about it. He coped very well.

My nephew's dog - one of twins, Keith and Ted... Meet Keith This lovely little fella had to come in for surgery with us as his owner noticed a little lump. After performing tests to investigate the vet diagnosed this lump as a Mast Cell Tumour. Mast cell tumours are among the most common tumours in dogs and are the most common type of skin cancer found in dogs. The safest and most effective methof of treatment is to remove them. Keith did really well and the nurses fell in love with him, what a star! If you notice any lumps or bumps on your pet and want to get them checked out please call to make an appointment;

My nephew's dog - one of twins, Keith and Ted.. Twin dogs? I never even thought that was possible. How can you be sure it's a twin and not just a similar looking puppy?
