It's a Georgian drawing room flat in the New Town. The flat has 15 ft high walls with ornate cornicing and fancy fireplaces. We also have a key to Queen Street gardens where we are allowed to take the dog (if he makes it , he is not a well hound just now. ) Other than Max being unwell, we are looking forward to moving enormously.

Sounds posh. Perhaps Max wants to stay put

Perhaps Max wants to stay put Perhaps, but I doubt it. He is an old dog who is very loving and so long as he is with me he is happy. He has an unidentified lump in his gut, so we are awaiting blood test results. Depending on what the tests say will determine whether he has an operation next week to remove it, or not! I will not put my lovely hound through an operation for it to postpone his life for a few more painful months. If he cannot go back to his usual bouncy self then he is best not here at all rather than being in pain, or unable to live his life to the max.

Nice, no gardens to bother about. Sounds super. GET WELL SOON MAX No gardens to worry about, no gutters to empty, no driveway to shovel several times a winter. Cinemas, pubs, restaurants, museums and theatres within walking distance. Also a stones throw from Glasgow where our daughter is starting uni this year. We can go on holiday without having to transfer through London, we can drive to London in a single journey, we can get our shopping delivered to the kitchen counter, it also has gas central heating- an absolute luxury- plus it is usually several degrees warmer outside than where we live now. Thank you for your get well words, I told him that Arena wished him well and you received a tail twitch in reply.

I went down that road ,several years ago, with my beloved Go-go. He did a coward a great favour by dying in the night and not making me take him to the vet.
I love the little guys I have now but there will never be another Go-go.

Yes, that last journey is an ordeal... As I left the vet's, without Ming, I heard a strange, bull-like noise coming from somewhere - then I realised it was me... bawling like a baby... I had to sit in the car for a while to regain some sort of composure.

Just a temporary slope, scorpy darls. I've scrambled me way back to the top now.
Good to see all my fellow old buggers here.
Did I see Heddy's name somewhere?

Hi Prue. I'd love to visit Australia. I have a cousin there I haven't seen for twenty two years.
