I see Arlene is female politician of the year! So blackmail seems the way to go these days and Theresa has been taking lessons!

Arlene Foster aka Ian Paisley in drag I would have thought that Yvette Cooper was a much better candidate

I wonder how much May paid to sway the judges

They say your personality shows on your face and her face is the face of a hard woman who won't compromise. Someone told me that the DUP are awful people who tie up the swings in children's parks on a Sunday. You can see in her face,I think, that she thinks pleasure is a sin.

My first wife's family were from N Ireland and from what I have seen they are all bigoted

So, Theresa is meeting with the DUP again today - how much will the bung be this time? Why not have meetings with the devolved administrations instead? Is there no end to this woman's stubborness?
The SAME deal will be put to parliament again next week and with the DUP on board(?) who knows what might happen. It is like watching 'The Italian Job' over and over again hoping the next time the bus won't be hanging over the cliff!

There's only a small number of DUP MPs (10 I think) so given the over 100 who reject May's deal I can't see them making much difference. Except for posturing and air time

It isn't the DUP per se it is the number of MPs who will follow them. Before the vote on Tuesday the question was asked of the DUP how they would vote and that put the final nail in the coffin!
