Well hidden by the press...…
A prestigious youth orchestra is leaving the UK and setting up in Germany. The leader confirmed this , stating that getting visas for the entire orchestra each time they performed in Europe would be logistically impossible. Most of their bookings are in Europe.

It was on BBC Breakfast this morning as well.
It will be dismissed as remoaner propaganda: who needs elitist orchestras anyway?

LATEST:
Theresa May is set to ask the European Union for an extra transition period that would see full Brexit delayed until around seven years after the vote to Leave. Under the plans, briefed by government officials to The Times newspaper, the whole of the United Kingdom would stay aligned with EU regulations and customs procedures until 2023 to help avoid a hard border in Ireland. It comes on top of a two-year transition period from 2019 to the start of 2021 which has already been agreed.

I bet Theresa is regretting the deal she made with the DUP. Now she has to do their bidding.

Brexit, just a total car crash from where I'm sitting.
Listening to Today this morning didn't fill me with any confidence when you have ministers (I think she was!) shouting over the top of a question and not giving any sort of rational answer re exports and imports. If, according to The Times, there is going to be chaos re food imports to the UK,, and the UK can't get foreign workers for the UK fields, then it looks as if it is back to 'dig for victory' turning your lawns into veg patches. Good luck with that one! I have a 'Carte de Sejour' my OH doesn't as the lady he was interviewed by insisted he didn't need one! So presumably I can stay and, possibly, he can't! There's fun for all!

Good luck with all that,Star. It is one big mess now,it makes us wonder if it will ever be sorted out. Why can't we get anything right in this country. The Northern rail reshuffle is a fiasco and just another example of incompetence. Oh dear, this post could turn into a very long moan. I'd better stop now.

I am bored to tears with Brexit and am beginning to wonder if this is deliberate policy. I hear people interviewed on the TV saying "Oh just get on with it" in a very bored fashion The News is the same, every day Grenfell, Trump and Kim, Manchester Arena, and Brexit. I'm afraid to say I just do not take nay notice any more
