I thought our wasn't that great but how on earth did a chicken song starting cluck cluck cluck win. It's not about music any more, it's political.

I thought there were some very good songs this year. The young lad singing for Germany was good, as was the Netherlands rockabilly number.

When it was judged on the merit of the song we had good results Puppet on a string. Boom bang a bang. Save your kisses for me. Making your mind up. Not to mention others that came close. In recent years though even if we had a half decent entry we got very few votes.

I think it's time we bowed out of Eurovision. We couldn't win if every other country dropped out. It is getting ridiculous. Politics has ruined it.

I agree, the bbc are wasting our money every year on this. They eventually dropped the miss world competition so why not drop this.

I don't know about "wasting" - people watch and enjoy it, which is all that matters isn't it?
Disclosure: I was watching a Giallo film for the first bit, and only saw the scoring, and I probably wouldn't have bothered with that had we not been waiting for someone to come back from a concert.
