Mrs Dixon. Cracking new BBC drama about a man who was a serial bigamist. True story where the lead actress is the subject's grandaughter I think you mean Mrs Wilson....Jimmy

I was slightly disappointed in Mrs Wilson, maybe because I knew the synopsis and knew what to expect.

I was slightly disappointed in Mrs Wilson, maybe because I knew the synopsis and knew what to expect. It was spoiled by the endless pre screening promotions when the thrust of the story was revealed, but it was well done

It's about time David Bumblebee packed it in. He gets very irritated on QT sometimes.

Mrs. Wilson hasn't finished yet. I can't work out if he was a hero or a con man or both. I certainly would not have reacted as Mrs. Wilson did. Lying to her sons was not very bright. They are old enough to investigate by themselves.

It was a strange ending to an interesting story, well dramatized. One has to ask why the security services refuse to hand over his file if he was not an agent, and if not why do they have a file? All those people and children at the end were presumably his offspring

Yes,the family shown at the end are all here because of Alex Wilson. I think he was an agent and was badly treated by the security services, but he was also a liar and a cheat. Obviously a clever, complex man.

The Apprentice, strange choice for Sugar for one of the final two. She makes "exotic" swimwear which she proposes to sell for £50, despite being shown similar products available in the High St for £15 I'm no business person but even I can see that this just will not work

Anyone else watch the new BBC production of Les Misérables last night. Clever idea to make a drama of the story behind the story, well acted and staged. I love the musical version and the music but it was nice to see some more background. We were introduced to Cosette and Marius as children, and whoever the actor is behind that enormous beard as Jean Valjean was frightening and intimidating, much more than Hugh Jackman. 5 more to go

Did anyone watch Call the midwife last night? I had tears near the end. I felt so sorry for that young girl and her fiance and when they made it up I was welling up.

It was very moving but I guessed that they would make up, Call usually has a happy ending I think this problem is not so rare, a young woman worked for my wife and eventually revealed that she was in a similar situation and in my work I had a client who was born without any genitalia. The doctors asked his parents what they had hoped for and they decided on a boy, it made him very apprehensive about revealing himself until he really got to know you

Aye I suppose the story liners are a tad predictable, but i't a great series. With each episode they cover things that were in the news through the early sixties.
