How many of us are convinced that Russia i.e. Putin is responsible for this atrocity? I have to say I am not convinced and having read many articles over the last week - I'm still not convinced. There are so many unanswered questions and, quite frankly, we are being treated as idiots in some quarters. This Russian was still a regular visitor to the Russian Embassy, why? Was he still employed as a spy by the UK or Russia? Who knows. What did Putin have to gain by this? Nothing as far as I can make out. I, like many others including Russia itself, would like to see/hear about the proof. I still can't accept that David Kelly commited suicide - there is another incident that I can't accept. Who would I blame for his demise? That's easy!

Although I am not a Labourite,I agree with Corbyn on practicing caution, we are still suffering with the 'weapons of mass destruction' crap the yanks fed us.......

I am not attaching myself to any politician's words on this - it is what I believe. It is a bit like finding someone guilty of a crime without any evidence. We have all done it in private but in public we wait to hear the evidence before making a judgement.

I don't know how they can accuse people without proof. Remember Jill Dando? First they said it was connected to Gang that had been revealed on Crimewatch then they locked on to Barry George on the flimsiest of evidence. Surely before accusing anyone they should make certain of their known facts otherwise it could have serious repercussions for our country.

Chemical weapons have been used by Russia before. The nerve agent has been identified as Russian by scientists trained in this technology. The spy(who worked for us) was released to us as part of a deal with Russia. I'm only saying,if it looks like a duck and it quacks like a duck - it's a duck.

I would agree with you re chemical weapons being used before by Russia BUT allegedly Porton Down's scientists have not agreed that this is a Russian nerve agent. They have said that Downing St have jumped the gun in that they have not said this was Russian. There are so many rumours circulating that surely it is time we were told the truth!
It is a sad state of affairs when ordinary folk, such as myself, can't trust our own government!

I agree, even though there is a suspicion regarding the origin it is wrong to accuse before getting all the facts right.

May's muddlers are trying to up their popularity by turning the finger on Moscow. A bit like we were assured Saddam had WOMD's. She's going round fist-pumping young Tories as a vote winner. I'm not disputing the hypothesis just asking for facts. BTW Why the rush to declare this latest Russian murder has nothing whatsoever to do with it?
Something smells.

Yes, something very fishy about the entire thing. Maybe we are not being told the full story.

I don't suppose we will ever be acquainted with all the facts. I am impressed that Europe has supported us over this.

I have to say I am shocked as well without proof what do we have?
When the evidence won't even be given to Corbyn as leader of the opposition you have to ask why. They have refused Putin too of course. I will take a lot of convincing that this has anything to do with Putin - he has nothing to gain from it as far as I can see.

Nothing to gain from interfering in the US and UK elections and the referendum either, except destabilisation.

Seems no one but May & Johnson are sure it's Russia.

Well, why wasn't the ambassador allowed to go to the meeting in the Kremlin this morning? This gets more and more bizarre. Why not go and listen to what the Russians have to say? Has Boris got it all wrong but he doesn't want to hear the truth? Just bizarre!

How many of you have been trying to work out why Russia would use a poison which can be exclusively traced to them and be so sparing with it ,that the victims both survive?
